Wow... that is pretty stunning. Yeah, I think you're completely right though.

When I was in college, someone at my church pled guilty to molesting his foster child and the child's friend, who were both under 12. At least a dozen people went to his sentencing carrying the Bible in support of the guy. I never heard about them taking action to help the victims. Disgusting.
