What you're saying is possible, for sure. I'm not the only guy who's been in this position with her.

However, it's also easy for me to see it another way: she yells when she's triggered and reminded of past traumatic experiences. Then she fears abandonment so she tries to keep me there. It's dysfunctional for sure but I don't know that it was premeditated.
