One of my least favorites was "Come, now is the time to worship."

It is not even worship. It is an announcement. Yes, now IS the time to worship and lift my voice, it is 10:30AM on a Sunday and we all know what time church starts, we're already here and we watched you getting your instruments ready on stage.

I understand that the worship team might need to say at the start of their set, "hey everyone, it's time to worship" if people are busy socializing, but how does it make sense that I should be roped into singing along about this announcement for 10 minutes? Why am I narrating my own schedule (in 2nd person format yet addressed at myself)?
