Nice article, I think you laid it out in a logical and understandable way, and I think you make good points. I basically agree with your conclusion. When you take those things into account, it's not too hard to understand why people believe what they do.

What happens when a "conversion attempt" ends up becoming part of a person's story? Some people become devout Christians after conversion. And sometimes atheist messages play a role in making someone question and leave their religion. Neither person regrets this, probably, so is it a bad thing?

Also, even if we understand why someone tells their own story like they do... what if that story leads them to be harmful to others? What action should we take?
