Good question.

I didn’t talk about it in this article — because I was trying to write a Medium post, not a book, haha — but I came to the conclusion that I couldn’t find evidence for the existence of any god at all. I find the scientific method a lot more useful and reliable for understanding the world around us.

I’m open to the possibility of pantheism, that a higher consciousness is produced by the sum total of the interactions of everything in the universe, kind of like how our own consciousness arises from billions of neurons.

But I feel confident that none of the deities described by human religions can be accurate. If there’s a being that is so vastly superior to us, then we can’t hope to comprehend it.
